To Traditionally or Self-Publish – THAT is the Question
Category : Publishing Advice
Back to the Pin
Remember that pin we told you to put in the traditionally published option? Here’s the final point: If you have to traditionally publish, look at the small boutique and small press publishers instead. They’ll give you a better royalty rate and will work with you on price changes and promotions. Some will even give you a couple hundred dollars as a book advance. That’s better than a kick in the teeth!
To summarize and, in case you haven’t guessed it by now, our advice is—if you have the tools or can pay a professional to help you—always self-publish. Yes, staying in control of the advertising, cover, blurb, keywords, etc., etc. is a factor, but chances are good you’ll make way more money on your own.
So What Does WRingle Have to Do with All This?
WRingle is going to help with all the above. WRingle will tie in social media, traditional and self-publishing, an eReader app and online bookstore ALL IN ONE platform.
NO ONE is doing this. All the above are mostly separate entities. Authors have to socialize on Facebook with billions of users, use Rafflecopter to conduct promotional giveaways, BookFunnel to distribute free eBook copies to their fans and mailing list management to reach out to those fans.
What if you could do all those things in one place? On one site? Or with one mobile app?
That’s WRingle – Where Writers & Readers Mingle. And with YOUR help, we can make it happen. Wouldn’t you rather write more and market less? CLICK HERE to learn more.
